I:Students will be able to write a summary of what they read that shows understanding of the major points of the reading.	☐Met ☐Not met  ☐ Partially Evidence/How can you tell? 4.9.13Unfortunately, I saw him not do this recently.  On tape, he was weaving together a narrative that wasn't in the text.  He's using the words, but not actually understanding them. There seems to be an issue around vocabulary	☐Met ☐Not met  ☐ Partially Evidence/How can you tell? She meets this regularly.	☐Met ☐Not met  ☐ Partially Evidence/How can you tell? Well, unfortunatley, I’m not seeing very much progress. When tested at a level S (below grade level) he still did not demonstrate clear comprehension evne of the basic parts of what he read.

I don’t see this. I don’t see him caring whether he understands or not, he just wants to get through it.  I don’t see him use a strategy to help repair comprehension.	☐Met ☐Not met  ☐ Partially Evidence/How can you tell? I will sometimes see her work to repair comprehension. She’ll as questions, she work in her reading groups to understand better.	☐Met ☐Not met  ☐ Partially Evidence/How can you tell? not really.  He doesn’t ask for help.  He makes up a narrative that uses the words but isn’t what the book is talking about.

I will sometimes observe the behavior.
